Finding support for skin-picking disorder can be a challenge

There's limited awareness

Even if you do seek help, skin-picking disorder is not widely recognized by doctors and therapists. This condition is often underdiagnosed and undertreated, leaving many without the support they need.

You're hesitant to seek help

Many people with skin-picking disorder feel reluctant to talk to doctors or therapists. How many people have you told about your condition? Often, even close family members and friends remain unaware. Research shows that less than 10% of sufferers seek professional help.

Specialized care is scarce

The best available treatment follows a protocol that's scientifically proven to help. But finding a therapy practice that offers this treatment is hard and can get expensive.

We offer an affordable digital treatment program

We make the treatment protocol for skin-picking disorder available to anyone, anywhere
Can’t stop skin-picking? You’re not alone. 2-5% of the population suffers from compulsive skin-picking.

Skin-picking was only included in the American Psychiatric Association’s reference book (DSM-5) in 2013. So few therapists know how to deal with it.

Our approach follows the Dutch treatment protocol, developed based on solid research. You can use it independently, as a supplement to existing therapy, or join our group therapy.
Habit Reversal Training
We’ll give you weekly reading and habit reversal assignments that will help you stop picking your skin.
Support System
You’ll join a community of fellow skin-pickers who will be your accountability buddies and support system for as long as you need.
Result Tracking
One of the most effective ways to reduce skin-picking behavior is by tracking it. See when and where you're most likely to pick and set reduction goals.

See your symptoms reduce

Studies have shown that self-help can be effective. Sending patients a PDF file with instructions led to a 35% reduction in symptoms.

(Online) therapy supported treatment is more effective, with a 41% reduction in symptoms.
